The MSMAA is hosting a Baby Shower & Welcome Party for all alliance members on Wednesday, September 9th at 6:30pm.The Mississippi State Medical Association Alliance (MSMAA) is a volunteer organization composed of physicians and spouses of physicians, resident-physicians and medical students. The mission of the MSMAA is to be a strong support system for medical families, to be a patient-physician advocacy organization which helps preserve the best health care in the world, to help members and patients be better informed about today’s health care environment and to give county Alliances a focus, empowerment, and a stronger voice in legislation and community activities.They provide dinner and it gives us a chance to meet the "Adult Alliance" members. They are a great group of people and Sondra Pinson, their President, really wants to be involved and connected with our Alliance. The MSMAA is sponsoring our New Member Dinner this year and we are so thankful for that. All Alliance families are invited. It is going to be held at the UMC Student Union Building on campus. They are going to have gifts to give out to everyone. So, again, EVERYONE is invited. If you have had a baby in the past year, it is for you, if you are a member of the Alliance and haven't had a baby, it is for you too! They want us all to come. I need to give her a head count about 1 week before the 9th so please let me know if you can come.
